Visit Clay Center

You will enjoy your visit to Clay Center. If you were ever looking for that "Ah-Ha" moment, you need to visit Clay Center. You will experience a true atmosphere of "Americana". Our Courthouse is probably the prettiest Courthouse Square in the State of Kansas. As you walk downtown you will think you are in Norman Rockwell painting. You will find antique stores, specialty shops, nostalgia, and a part of America we all long for but are too busy to see. Visiting Clay Center is an eye opening experience of what our country was founded on...pride, family, and traditions.

RV CAMPING SPOTS:

OTTO UNRUH STADIUM: Just off Highway 24 near the old cabins and school house. There are two (2) areas for electrical hookups and access to water hydrant.

HUNTRESS PARK: Just south of the Huntress Swimming Pool (old tennis courts). There are six (6) slots with water and electricity hookups.

Payment is by donation - boxes are visibly located.

Duration of stay is not more than two or three days ("reserve rights of rmore than 72 hours stay")...then check in with Park Departemnt with further plans. Park Department is near the old tennis courts - the big white building across from Swimming Pool.

OTHER LOCATIONS

CLAY COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS: There are four (4) slots. All have electricity. Two (2) have sewer and water hookups. SLOT COST: Electricity only is $12.00; with sewer and water, $15.00.

EAST HIGHWAY 24 ACROSS FROM WATER TOWER: Six (6) slots with water, electricity, and sewer; $12.00 per night.
