The Clay Center Area Chamber of Commerce is made up of many businesses, professionals, and community partners who are committed to enhancing our economy and quality of life.

REFERRAL SERVICE: The Chamber office receives hundreds of inquiries annually requesting information about retail, manufacturing, housing, and services. Callers want to know which businesses are members of the Chamber. Understanding the value of one good lead, the Chamber of Commerce ALWAYS refers MEMBERS first!

CHAMBER E-NEWS: The Chamber E-News is a weekly electronic publication that goes out to over 2,250 readers. It is designed to keep members informed about Chamber meetings, upcoming events, and community announcements. It is also designed to promote Chamber member information and announcements to our readers.

CHECK ALERT: The Chamber maintains a check alert system that provides timely warnings of suspicious and fraudulent check that enter our economic system.

NEW RESIDENT PACKETS: The Chamber works with the Hometown Welcome Committee to welcome new residents to Clay Center. Members are welcome to provide inserts, coupons, and/or material for the new resident packets.

INTERNTET PRESENCE: In this age of technology, having a web presence is crucial to be successful. It has become a stamp of legitimacy. This is a valuable benefit in today’s competitive market. The Chamber maintains a website which lists our members alphabetically and by category. The Chamber gladly links viewers to member’s own website and/or Facebook address.

RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY: The Chamber hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for new members and members who have expanded or have relocated. This is a great way to let people know who you are, what you do, and where you are located.

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES: The Chamber provides opportunities for members to network to meet new people in the community and to promote their business. Opportunities include the weekly Chamber Community Coffee every Friday morning 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM and Business After Hours.

ACCESS TO WORKING CAPITAL: The Chamber has a number of sources for funding small businesses and exclusive discounted interest rates and deals. We work with popular well known funders like Capvance Merchant Advance and MCA Merchant. You can quickly get the funding you need without going to the bank.

MARKETING - GETTING YOUR NAME OUT: The Chamber works to get your name out through various means including: the Clay Center Brochure, Community Profile, Teacher Appreciation Breakfast, Watermelon Feed, Clay Days, Legislative Coffees, Piotique Festival, E-News, The Chamber Membership Packet, and The Chamber Report on KNCK.

COMMITTEE PARTICIPATION: The Chamber offers each member the opportunity to serve on a Chamber Committee to help plan, provide direction, and to have a voice in providing solutions.

MEMBERSHIP IS A TAX DEDUCTION: Membership in the Clay Center Area Chamber of Commerce is 100% tax-deductible as a necessary business expense.
